Flip Life FAQ
Is Flip Life really free?
Yes. Download Flip Life: Reseller Simulator by November 3, 2026 and it is yours to keep, free, including updates. After that it will be a paid game.
Which computers does it run on?
Mac computers with Intel or Apple Silicon chips, and Windows x64 PCs. Play uses a keyboard and mouse. The download is about 1.6 GB.
How do I open it on a Mac?
Unzip the download and drag Flip Life into your Applications folder, then double-click it. The app is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other Mac app.
How do I open it on Windows?
Unzip the download, open the Flip Life folder and double-click Flip Life.exe. Keep the files in that folder together. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. The game is not code-signed for Windows yet, so Windows does not recognize it.
Is Flip Life family friendly?
Yes. The characters wear ordinary clothes, the dialogue is warm and funny, and your family is part of the game. There is no gore and no swearing.
What do you do in the game?
You start with $300 and a garage. You source stock at thrift stores, yard sales, estate sales, flea markets, the bins outlet, private buys, storage auctions and liquidation pallets. Then you photograph it, list it, take offers, pack orders and ship them. Over time you grow from the garage into a warehouse with staff.
How do you win?
The campaign ends after $100,000 in sales, a warehouse, an employee and a fulfilled order. You can keep playing after that.
Is FlowLister in the game a real app?
Yes. FlowLister is a real listing tool for eBay resellers, made by the same team. The in-game version is a playful copy of it.
Who makes Flip Life?
Christopher Taylor of Taylor Family Software, a small team in Kingman, Arizona.
